Jays return Randy Wells to Cubs

Rule V draftee Randy Wells was sent back to the Cubs today after clearing waivers. The Blue Jays had hoped to keep Wells but were unable to work out a deal with the Cubs. The Cubs must like him. He got one inning of work for Toronto, so let's take a look. Randy faced the Red Sox at home, and the roof was closed. It was the 9th inning of a blow-out. The Jays won 10-2.
